Thinking that we live
in more emancipated times, it’s truly surprising that there are million people in
the world learn by rote still. If you’re familiar with transformative learning,
then we got the same laments as educators. And once it’s embraced for countless
years, it would take another generation to single out its worthlessness or
trivialize such education system – a decade isn’t enough.
Where I am engaged at
the moment is a real combat – discriminating each mind which is engrossed by
this unbreakable habit. And so each lesson fed must be critically thought or
else memorization is just in vain.
