It's No Joke

“I never had the same opportunity when I was your age,” my boss professed to four of our young staff at the meeting. Had exactly the same thought been wanting to tell them only in a hope to encourage–it’s a sincere intention–to guide these youngsters to be genuine and passionate workers.

My superior and I were totally right for the same assertion–a break we both never had. I don’t know what he was like at the age of nineteen, but I was busy chasing every opportunity there was. I just hope it is no joke to them.

This Life

Not many people understand the path I’ve chosen–it’s too complex to define perhaps. But it is in this complexity I find joy, contentment, and fulfillment money can’t buy–for even the richest among the rich tries to redefine life withal.

While a few individuals know my principles and philosophies of human existence, I got nothing to brag about–it is only a perception I instil daily to myself–nothing else. And so I am grateful for every moment including my darkest hours, which left me becoming stronger. And forever thankful for this life even when my get-up-and-go is gone.
