Whether or not it’s a monolingual
dictionary, I fall for it easily. I’m a word freak – an out-and-out a logophile.
Hope this doesn’t sound overweening to you. Just want to express my love for
words. So please spare me from denigration because it isn’t my intention to
blow my own trumpet.
A dictionary is actually considered a
book. Concurred! Indeed, my all-time favorite one to read. Regardless or not it
explains every single idiom including quotation under the sun, I will still fall
for it. It takes genius to fancy big words and I’m the irony – I’m just a
logophile.
