Saturated Joy

Back to my unfrequented world. The last seven hours was unexpected saturation–a deluge of joy would haven’t had if I didn’t hang out with my students. It was a cascade of events partly envisaged and didn’t see coming. This imbued me with a strong sense of gratefulness–not a facade emotion.

When the higher-up found out I’ve been isolating in days, he sent one of our students to pick me up and drive me around villages. “Ah, it’s just a familiar routine!” I griped. No, it wasn’t. Not to mention some takeaways, it was the warmest welcome I received.

SO FAR, SO GOOD

So far, I have been enjoying my solitary days–an out-of-the-way life from civilization. Right in this abode, I rest and put my feet up like never had in years; appreciating every moment of solitude; stealing jiffies to visualize future plans; and in a funny way of uttering words–it’s rejuvenation.

As the entire nation celebrates–consuming their get-up-and-go with their love ones, I behold this isolation taking pleasure in every second it offers. Except for a slight paranoia from robbery and thieves at night, I got nothing to worry about in this period of aloneness. So far, so good!

Thanks and Thoughts

The seemingly endless three-month-summer program was over yesterday left the center so quiet–for now. Sweats of teachers and volunteers are counted undeniably. All our labors aren’t in vain. I understand, it was sad to be leaving, but in this moving-on-stage we feel the need to grow. Sure enough, each memory that kids have brought back home including bits and pieces last a lifetime.

As usual, it was culminated with a trip maybe first time to others–another reminisce our longing hearts soon will feel. To dear parents, sponsors, volunteers, teachers, and students–kudos! Endless thanks for this wonderful experience.
