It's The Hundredth

As a person enslave by prolific writing, and slogs into blogging, it was never easy as pie to put all thoughts in just a hundred words–many times it’s too taxing. People might have the impression that the shorter the story, the less time one consumes. That’s easier said than done.

It’s the hundredth piece of my themed journey laying my cards on the table. I made it this far without breaking the rule yet in attempts putting something in the picture–it’s doable. Two months still are next in line, can’t wait to write more to complete this journal.

Jackpot and Disaster

A day off on weekdays for the fourth successive week could be a roll-over prize or a nightmare.  This is how it goes in my current world–too many inevitable public holidays. While it’s a jackpot to me being paid monthly, but it’s a disaster to others who are in an hourly basis. I know how it feels detesting holidays, too.

Whether someone gives it a “what a life” or “such is life” impression or not, it’s beyond my control. I’ve anticipated this day–no, not faking it. Whops! I almost forgot! There is actually another big break so soon.

Those Were The Days

We used to hangout a lot like brothers in days gone by. As I’ve no dominion over the world’s twirl and whirl or over life’s growth or over someone’s transformation, I learned to let go. I dwell in the now, and past are cherished memories.

Those were the days!

Undeniably, it was apparent to me that such friendship had an end seeing as we weren’t citizens in that foreign land. But I had no reason to cut ties. If my friend only knew, I did my best to reach out countless times, in many ways possible–it wasn’t that gratifying.

Remedy

If there’s no such thing as common sense, I could have whimpered or bleated at all hours about our current textbooks. But I’m perceptive enough–whining is no answer to this. What’s the use of initiative? Mine now, and everyday, is to mend this mess although I can’t really suppress my disappointments.

Sorry to say, these books aren’t up to scratch–not well-thought out insights to learn; uninteresting–they’re draining conundrums for teachers to take. As an educator in favor of student-centered learning, my big responsibility is to have these trashes be remedied–necessarily in context, very relevant, and practical.
