Journey. Hundred. Words.

It started off with prolific posts the first two years and then followed by an abridged, ten-paragraph articles the last two years – felt like I apprised too much information and worn my readers out. This year is a unique concept thinning out pages for every story, and writing each journey into a hundred words.

It’s the fiftieth piece I am blogging this year. Glad I’m getting off to a good start. It requires discipline to produce such write-up though but it’s fun. I’m learning to be more creative and concise. Just halfway through, sooner it will be another unpublished corpus.

Rote

Thinking that we live in more emancipated times, it’s truly surprising that there are million people in the world learn by rote still. If you’re familiar with transformative learning, then we got the same laments as educators. And once it’s embraced for countless years, it would take another generation to single out its worthlessness or trivialize such education system – a decade isn’t enough.

Where I am engaged at the moment is a real combat – discriminating each mind which is engrossed by this unbreakable habit. And so each lesson fed must be critically thought or else memorization is just in vain.
