“I
want to be a nurse in the future.”
There’s
more to this dream than meets the eye, as sure as eggs is eggs. After all, it’s
not about a career’s stability or someone’s keenness on memorization or how
hardworking that person is–not always in this case–it’s a destiny. I realized.
I wanted
to be a nurse too, but my abnormal fear of blood of others (not that squeamish
though) prevented me from pursuing this aspiration. I couldn’t even stand the
smell of medicines or looking at the patients. I was born to write; not as a nurse.
