My old life flashed
before me as I was watching a clip of someone playing the piano on you tube. Big
and small dreams, which I’d pursued and chased for countless times in the days
of my youth–they’ve been put on the back burner for many years–now only memories
to reminisce.
Of course, this is no
message of bemoaning, it was my earnest choice to set these ambitions aside for
the sake of something else undeniably vital. I may not be able to live these desires
again to the fullest, but I am still a musician–for life.
