Last week, I struggled supplementing
lessons to culminate the course–the final countdown before the summer program
starts. It could’ve been different if I came here long enough. Then in a span
of a day, our center is suddenly crowded. I find myself struggling again
providing lesson after lesson while taking care of students, including teachers
and volunteers. It’s suffocating–the workload’s too much.
I spearhead this program
yearly, and so used to it, but the pressures are overwhelming this time (if I
had to mention other responsibilities). Thanks to a declared holiday. I can
breathe at least a little.
