For once, in all fairness, I was
madly and deeply in love with this little planet that I sacrificed my comfort,
my pride, and even things I adore most–without expecting in return. Thanks to
amazing people who had epitomized a selfless example of altruism, otherwise I
wouldn’t know these words: giving and caring. Or wouldn’t be able to apply them
for real.
And for once, I was an
out-and-out stranger to everybody but not to every ritual or odd goings-on.
Finally, I’m part of the habitation–my second home in the here and now.
Another essay, This Tiny World.
