A Musician For Life

My old life flashed before me as I was watching a clip of someone playing the piano on you tube. Big and small dreams, which I’d pursued and chased for countless times in the days of my youth–they’ve been put on the back burner for many years–now only memories to reminisce.

Of course, this is no message of bemoaning, it was my earnest choice to set these ambitions aside for the sake of something else undeniably vital. I may not be able to live these desires again to the fullest, but I am still a musician–for life.

GOODBYE

For every goodbye leaves a path to trace–a limpid footpath to an endless journey or a trek like beating a path through the undergrowth–only those on the move know best. Those who are left behind will endure this forlorn feeling for a while. It’s only temporary.

I hate long drawn-out goodbyes, but in this leaving one realizes that life isn’t static. We live this stage every so often, and so we understand the importance of goodbye to get to the other side. We are happy for as long as your journey won’t lead you to a primrose path.
