Middleman

Thought I had enough, but just hit somebody up again–one last try perhaps–another unexpected go-between act for the sake of less fortunate kids. And for the umpteenth time, I was doing a very uncomfortable favor over again. I’m so tired of it, but that’s the least I could do to help.

It’s no easy task to be honest, but it’s more difficult to turn helpless children down. If I had a choice, I rather give than to be the middleman. I find it easier to extend aid from my own resources than raise funds from friends or sponsors.

Another Aid-memoire

In my pursuit to live each day, I have cosseted stress too much not getting the picture that longevity is not for everyone. “Life is short”, it would seem has lost its essence as a reminder to take life at a slow speed–it is now but a clichéd catchphrase, that is, not easy on the ear.

My utmost desire in this day and age–when relentless pressure and vacillation persist and exist with us–is to worry less and be unselfish. Why push myself beyond the limit when it only brings me to my grave empty handed and naked?

Summer in Winter

This can be the dimmest notion you’ll read, I’ll put it into words anyway: “One doesn’t have to be a genius to see the effect of climate changes nowadays. They’re here before our eyes, in all forms, destroying lives and living things.” It no longer surprises me seeing summer taking place in winter–when heat exhaustion still gets you even if you’re inside the house.

But I also aver that it takes heavenly wisdom along with our willingness to preserve earth in order to experience winter and summer naturally–not this odd weather. This is where I pin my hopes.

Self-reminder

The world has everything man wishes to learn and know while the net has been the biggest supporter vividly showing, divulging bittersweet stories–kept netizens amazed and dumbstruck–they don’t matter what–each is a self-reminder supposedly.

I read post after post every single day, but this time is out of the usual run of things–so captured by someone’s story–how she faces her greatest tragedy with optimism and not grumbling. I don’t know if I’d take it the same way. She is an open book reminding me of my daily grouses and of my exaggeration to little things.
