Thought I had enough,
but just hit somebody up again–one last try perhaps–another unexpected
go-between act for the sake of less fortunate kids. And for the umpteenth time,
I was doing a very uncomfortable favor over again. I’m so tired of it, but that’s
the least I could do to help.
It’s no easy task to be
honest, but it’s more difficult to turn helpless children down. If I had a
choice, I rather give than to be the middleman. I find it easier to extend aid
from my own resources than raise funds from friends or sponsors.
